As a little girl, Larissa Parks loved weddings. Her Barbie dolls were each married more times than Elizabeth Taylor and when she played dress-up she was only interested in pretending to be a bride. That’s nothing out of the ordinary – many little girls do the same. The thing is, most little girls grow out of it.
When her true love got down on one knee and popped the question, while mostly excited about spending her life with her man in marriage, Larissa was beyond excited to finally be able to plan a real wedding!
While working at Walt Disney World in Customer Service & Reservations, Larissa was in the business of creating memories and making dreams come true for unsuspecting guests. That job made a huge mark on Larissa, especially the time she arranged for a terminally ill child and her family to have one-on-one time with the girl’s favorite character, Mulan. That little girl got to lead the parade down Main Street and Larissa was moved to tears.
At Disney, Larissa became obsessed with their weddings and they had a huge influence on the weddings she started planning for her friends and eventually she was planning weddings professionally.
To this day, if there’s a wedding show on Television or a florist show in her city she’s all over it because she truly loves learning about this industry. As far as Larissa’s concerned, the only thing better than a wedding is an ethnic wedding! Because she has such a great love for cultures and weddings, when there’s an ethnic wedding nearby, she can hardly contain herself.
Having such a passion for the wedding industry, it only made sense for Larissa to specialize in assisting business owners in this niche.
