Larissa Parks is an expert Virtual Assistant and Virtual Business Manager. Spending over 15 years of her life in the administrative and corporate business, she has worked for key executives of hospitals and Fortune 500 companies. Her experience ranges from profit to non-profit, and government sectors as well.
She owned a brick-and-mortar Asian/African American-influenced store that catered to the sense of smell, touch, and hearing. Her store feeds the senses with candles, oils, wind chimes, art, and more. She fancies foreign language which had her studying Spanish and German at the same time. She also went as far as learning American Sign Language which gave her the fondest memory of singing in unison with everyone through their hand gestures.
Nevertheless, her vision and ambition to succeed did not stop there. She ventured into the virtual world. After working with corporate executives for many years, she began to develop a sense of control over her professional destiny.
One morning, her attention was caught by a discussion on virtual assistance on The Today Show. She was amazed by how this business combines her passion: outstanding administrative support and technology. She spent her time doing research ‘til she discovered AssistU, the foremost training facility for virtual assistants. She applied, was accepted, and spent the next few months undergoing an intense training course.
Since then, she has not looked back. Larissa implements internet marketing strategies online and offline for her clients. When she’s not busy helping clients out to achieve success, she enjoys horseback riding and playing the clarinet family. She is also into reading and traveling, and is very much into self care. She is particular about details but is balanced with her creativity. She loves to learn, she loves to laugh. She loves different cultures, among others. This passion drives her to learn different languages and phrases, traditions and cultures. When it comes to matters of the heart and spirit, she tends to surround herself with people who have deep sense of faith and integrity because these two things are important to her.
Being a Virtual Assistant or Virtual Business Manager and working with one is not for everyone. But she did not make that limitation stop her from going for it. This further makes Larissa believe that “playing big to make it big” is not just a quote but a lifestyle. And she’s very well up to living it. Larissa has never had a very conventional approach to life or business and hopes to partner with clients who are similarly unconventional.
